Synopsis
Gaspar is a lonely taxi driver whose life is filled with mindless,
propagandistic TV programs. Accidentally, he rescues a beautiful
member of the Resistance and with her goes on a quest to a
mysterious island that harbors the ‘zero-switch’.
Discovering the switch, they are rescued from the world of
alienation and loneliness, finding a new meaning in togetherness
and love.

Director Stjepan Mihaljevic´
Born in 1972 in S˙iroki Brijeg. He grew up in Sarajevo, got his education in
Zagreb. He started working on animated films in Brussels. In his constant search
for new challenges, he tried out as a painter, portraitist, restorer, comic
book artist, theatre designer and art pedagogue. He has gladly received many
awards (and forgotten them quickly). “Unplugged” is his third film,
a fruit of a longtime obsession.
