Synopsis
Tim, an American soldier struggling with traumas from Iraq war and the reality of civilian life gets orders to return to the war zone. On the same day he is scheduled to deliver a motivational speech for recruiting purposes at his old high school. The driver who picks him up turns out to be a Croatian refuge from the war-ravaged city of Vukovar, Croatia….

Director Paolo Borraccetti
Born and raised in Padova, Italy, Paolo is now completing Masters program in Film Production at the University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts, as part of his Fulbright Fellowship. His short film “Santiago” (2004) was widely shown at international film festivals, and won several awards. “Have You Ever Heard About Vukovar?” is his thesis film.
