U.S.A., documentary, 2007; 11 min
Written and Directed by: Igor Borovac

Co-producer: Nico Mavris

This is the story of two different groups of people, those trying to
get into the United States and those who are trying to stop them. We
witness the humanity and struggles of both Border Patrol agents and
Mexican immigrants. Representatives of each group share their
feelings and experiences with illegal crossings and the politics
perpetuating the situation. The film includes high-tension night
encounters between Border Patrol agents and immigrants and an
interview with Enrique Morones, founder of Border Angels, a group
that leaves food and water in the desert for immigrants. It seeks to
commemorate the countless unidentified migrants who have died
crossing the border into the U.S. over the years.
