Synopsis:
An artistic documentary about Maestro Rexhep Karaça, an 85-year old accordion player and member of the Roma minority in Kosovo. Karaça has a lifetime of experience playing the accordion. He is not just a musician but a living history, having performed for many regimes over the years. He remembers playing for King Zog in Tirana, where his father bought him the accordion he still plays today. He recounts his experiences with German SS officers, Italian soldiers, Communist Party members, and most recently, the international forces in Kosovo.

Director: Burbuqe Berisha
Born in 1970 in Shkup, FYROM, Burbuque graduated from the Academy of Film and Television in Pristina University, Kosovo. Her acclaimed short film “Kosovo 9/11” tells the story of a small child who misinterprets the news to think the Serbs have committed the 9/11 attacks, leading to absurd consequences.
